About Elaine Rae L.L.B (Hons) DIP.L.P

Elaine has specialised in criminal law from very early in her career. Having trained with COPFS she qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and has practiced exclusively in Criminal Defence ever since. She has extensive experience in all aspects of criminal law from defending prosecutions in the High Court for:

  • Murder
  • Rape and
  • Drug Trafficking Offences

 

to cases prosecuted in the Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts like:

  • Assaults
  • Sexual Assaults
  • Crimes of Disorder,
  • Domestic Offences,
  • Dishonesty and
  • Road Traffic Offences

 

Prior to joining us at McIntosh McCann Elaine has worked at very busy and successful Criminal Practices in Glasgow.

Elaine will work diligently for her clients, utilising her experience to provide reliable and informed advice. She is known for her down to earth and straight-talking manner. Elaine particularly enjoys conducting Jury trials.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, socialising and travelling with her family.
